My voice lesson went really well. Don was impressed by my sound and my range. He gave me 2 songs to work with. One, ironically, is "I Dreamed A Dream" from "Les Mis", which was my karaoke song and has a horde of memories tied to it. He also gave me "Back To Before" from "Ragtime". That is the song that I will be singing in the "Leading Ladies" show in June. This is a formal, black-tie dinner that yours truly will be singing a solo in! I'm so excited! I just wanted to share the good news. :) |
