Come what may...

11:51 P.M., Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2003: 2003 in review
I feel it is time to look back on 2003 in my life. A lot has happened, and I can honestly say that this year was 5000000000000 times better than 2002. Let's take a gander, shall we?

JANUARY: Stephanie broke up with me because of the distance and because she didn't really know what she wanted. It didn't matter, because a week later I met Tony. A week after that, we were engaged. I quit my job at Sugar Creek because it sucked ass. I was still doing homework for Dawn.

FEBRUARY: Tony and I were definitely in love. We decided to elope, but changed our plans after my parents threatened to disown me if we did. I totaled my Focus. I started working at DEB. I did 1 of Don's wonderful revues, singing "I'd Give My Life For You" from "Miss Saigon", among other things.

MARCH: I celebrated a year of staying out of the hospital. Tony and I had fun falling off the bed during sex at the Microtel. (I STILL laugh about that!) I had a falling out with both Dawn and Bridgette...not like I care, though. The wedding plans were kicking into high gear as our date drew closer. I did "The Baker's Wife" with both of my parents.

APRIL: 4-12-03...the biggest day of my life...finally Tony and I became husband and wife. We went on a honeymoon that caused us to drive EVERYWHERE. And we somehow managed to get housing in 6 hours, so we moved in to our very own place.

MAY: I left my job at DEB to work at Cocytus...otherwise known as Stream. I auditioned for "Godspell" and was cast as Lust.

JUNE: We adopted our little furbaby, Loki. I dyed my hair pink.

JULY: Tony and I enjoyed a day at Water Safari. We had to basically babysit Miles on our crazy 4th of July celebration in Alex Bay. Our daughter was conceived at some point this month, but given our penchant for tons of sex, it's very hard to pinpoint exactly when.

AUGUST: I got my third tattoo. I celebrated my 20th birthday. 3 days later, I found out I was pregnant. Tony got his orders to Afghanistan. The next day I was unfairly fired from Stream. We spent our last weekend together before he left, even though my morning sickness was horrible and I popped a blood vessel in my eye, which looked really weird. Tony's chief set our house on fire with a cigarette, singeing part of the deck and some of the panels on the side of the house.

SEPTEMBER: Tony left for Afghanistan on Labor Day. I went to MI for a week. I struggled to make ends meet until I got an AER loan and Tony's ATM card in the mail. I heard the baby's heartbeat for the first time.

OCTOBER: I got signed up with WIC. Loki was finally neutered, but he's still crazy. It was discovered that someone charged 2 memberships to porn sites to my bank account and used Tony's name, email address, and email password to do it. I had it investigated by the MP's, but I never heard what happened with it. I found out I had mild dysplasia in my cervix. Dr. Khan said I could stay off my meds for the duration of my pregnancy.

NOVEMBER: We found out that Tony and the rest of the guys had been extended 90 days in Afghanistan. I had an ultrasound and found out we're having a girl. I took the train home to MI for Thanksgiving. My acid reflux flared up big time. I won over $300 at bingo.

DECEMBER: I came back to NNY for a little bit after being in MI for Thanksgiving. Tony "celebrated" his 25th birthday. I came back to MI for the holidays by plane because my grandma paid for my ticket. The holidays sucked ass without Tony here, but I tried to make the best of it with my family. I made candles and soap for the first time.

Here are some things I have to look forward to in 2004:

-Tony finally coming home!

-The birth of our daughter

-Our 1-year anniversary

-My 21st birthday

And with that, I wish you all a happy new year. :)
